Re-Readathon Returns!

Next week sees the return of my favourite of all the readathons (and I'm only a tiny bit biased...), the Re-Readathon.

I love re-reading. I find it incredibly soothing, especially towards the end of the year, and nothing gives permission to really dig in and enjoy something more than a week long readathon dedicated to it. Who's with me?

The Re-readathon runs from October 1st - 8th 2025 and the rules are very simple. Here's what you have to do to join in:

  • Make a pile of books you plan to re-read. Everything counts - graphic novels, audiobooks, non-fiction, picture books, whatever!

  • If you're on social media, share the image below and use #rereadathon to help get the word out and share your tbr

  • From October 1st - 8th, make a little more time than you usually would and re-read those old favourites. Read while you're stirring the dinner, or listen to an audiobook on your commute to work. Go to bed a little earlier and read, or (if you're like me) put a regular reminder on your phone to stop scrolling and read!

  • If you'd like to, post some updates with what you've been reading, or come back here and comment on this post with updates.

That's it!

Re-reading is good for the soul. If you'd like to see my re-readathon archives from way back when I used to host it on my book blog, they're here and I just put up September's members blog today which also includes some recommendations for some of my favourite re-reads, which you can read here.
